Overview
MHCHXM has released near-zero temperature-coefficient fast-recovery diodes at 650 V and 1200 V, with current ratings from 30 A to 100 A.
These epitaxial FRDs combine a high-voltage field-stop termination with lifetime control. In the circuit they freewheel, rectify, clamp or snub. By how VF moves with temperature, the family splits into negative, near-zero and positive coefficients.
On the near-zero parts, VF and Irrm change less from cold to hot, while reliability stays high. That is the version to parallel.
